Kelcema Productions offers several Event and Pricing options for you to choose from. You can pick and match those items that you would like to have at your event. When you purchase a Package Event, you get everything that we have available.

Weddings :: $595 - $995
When you think of your wedding reception, what are you thinking about? Is it the place it'll be at? Or the caterer? How about the photographer? Or the floral expert? Sure, all of these people are important. But, at the same time, so is your DJ. We know that your wedding is the most important event of your life. No other event will be more memorable. One of the key elements for a successful wedding is your DJ. If you hire an average DJ, with a small selection of songs and no lights, you and your family will have some fun, but will also be disappointed. People might forget about a messed flower arrangement, or not even notice that the wine wasn't chilled properly. If there is a DJ in the corner spinning the latest hip hop tunes, and your family is just standing there not knowing what to do... that they will remember.

With Kelcema Productions, you get a professionally attired DJ playing only the music you want, with an awesome sounding system, flashy lights, and dedicated to helping you make the best of this important day!

There are three packages available for weddings; they are based on the length of playing time you need.

    • Package A, for $595.00, will provide you four hours of music.

    • Package B gives you up to six hours for $795.00.

    • Package C gives you a whopping eight hours for just $995.00!

With EVERY package, you get...

- Our premier sound system with two Mackie SRM-450 powered two-way speakers.
- Lighting- if requested, you can get a pair of Martin SCX-500 intelligent dance lights and two other DJ effect lights on one stand! We have more lighting available as well, so if you'd like to turbocharge your party, we'll make it happen!
- Unlimited pre-event meetings to develop playlists and wedding activities
- A wireless microphone for speeches. We also bring a corded backup in case of any problems.

For your package price, you get a full range sound system, including a wireless microphone for guest speeches. This sound system starts with a 1,000 watt Mackie© Active© sound system. Two 500 watt two-way speakers will provide plenty of sound for your event. We can also add two 600-watt subwoofers, providing more then enough "ooompf" for your venue. We can also upgrade the size of the main speakers or add a second pair of two-way speakers, spreading out the sound even further if need be. So, whatever the size of your venue, we'll make it sound great for everyone there!

You also will have access to our wide library of music, from background piano music to today's top 40 hits. We'll meet with you however many times as needed to develop your ideal play lists. Requests can also be emailed in at any time, so if you think about it at home before the event, you won't forget. That'll also give us time to make sure we have that special song you want. You will also get lighting included in your package- we never charge extra for bringing fun dance lights!

The School Dance :: $395.00-$695.00
For most schools, the School Dance is one of the largest fundraisers you can do. With a small investment of money, you can have a great return as well as an action packed evening. We'll work with your Dance Committee, ASB, or whoever is planning your dance, to make it the most impressive event possible.

For your package price, you get our full range sound system, which includes 2000 watts of system power. These are Mackie© Active© speakers, so in reality, if you compared it to a passive system, you'd have over 2500 watts of power. The speakers are set up with two 600-watt subwoofers and two 500-watt two way speakers right in front, providing literally a wall of sound for your students. *School is required to provide sufficient power circuitry to run this system. We need a minimum of 4 dedicated 15-amp circuits to properly run this system. We recommend this system for up to 250 students. If you're planning on having more then 250 students at your event, then we suggest upgrading to our larger system.

Around the DJ Table we'll set up two lighting stands, including chase controlled colored flood lights, DJ effect lights, and our sweet Intelligent Lighting. This is like the lighting setups you'll find at touring rock concerts -- multi colored images that can move around the entire room. These move and change to the beat of the music, and can be connected together so that they operate in synchronization with each other. Rarely will you find a DJ that offers the expensive Intelligent Lighting option, as it is costly to start using as well as difficult to set up and use, but we want you to have the very best that there is!

As always, you have access to our wide library of music, including alternative, pop, 80's dance, or whatever else your school wants to hear. Furthermore, the week before your dance, we'll help you to circulate Request Sheets among your student body. (Call us to have us mail or FAX you request sheets. You will want to get the back to us before the day of the dance.) From those, not only do we compile a Play List, but we'll also make a Top Ten Playlist for your school. This we will play back during the course of your event, culminating with your school's Number One Dance Song right at the very end. No other DJ Company offers this exclusive service, which has proven very popular. Requests can also be emailed in at any time, so if you think about it at home before the dance, you won't forget.

The Massive School Dance Party :: $595.00 - $695.00

We've taken our basic package, and kicked up to the next level. For your package price ($595.00), you get our massive extended sound system, which features a dual-18" subwoofer cabinet plus a full range top... on each side! That's 4- 18" subwoofer speakers in your venue! We power this system with four amplifiers that can produce more then 10,000 watts of power - that's more then enough to absolutely blow you away! *School is required to provide sufficient power circuitry to run this system. We need a minimum of 4 dedicated 15-amp circuits to properly run this system. We are also able to use a 220v power access point (30 amp connection: L5-30 or L14-30, 50 amp connection: "California Style" generator plug or NEMA 14-50 plug receptacle) within 50' of the DJ area.

This system is recommended for events where you plan on having more then 250 students in attendance. This is our premier system with the power to rock your dance!

With our larger system, we take the lighting setup to the next level! Above the DJ Table and your dance floor we'll set up a full Lighting Truss System, including chase controlled colored flood lights, DJ effect lights, and our sweet Intelligent Lighting. This is like the lighting setups you'll find at touring rock concerts -- multi colored images that can move around the entire room. Multiple Event Packages :: Save Money!
We offer a wide selection of discounts for multiple events at the same school. If you book at least four events for your school during the course of the school year (August 31st to June 30th), we'll take $45 off the price of each event. We must receive Purchase Order numbers or signed contracts for all four events for this discount to apply. Alternatively, if the four events are not all pre-booked, we can book-as-you-go during the year, and if you still hold at least four events with us, we will provide your ASB with a refund check at the end of the year. You do receive a larger rebate if you choose to pre-book all of your events, but we want to make it worth your while just the same if you book during the year at an ongoing basis!

Referral Bonuses :: Save More Money!
If other schools in your district are looking for a DJ as well, we're happy to help them out! During the booking process, if another school within your district tells us they got our name from you, not only will they get a $50 discount on the event they are booking, we'll also give YOUR school an ADDITIONAL $50 discount on your next event! We want you to help us, and we'll make it worth your while!

With this final discount opportunity, you could have a DJ for as little as $295! Try to find a better price based on what we provide! *Maximum discounted price is $295 for four hours, $245 for three hours, $195 for two hours.

What We'll Play :: Let's Hear It!
As part of our music subscription service, we get seven different audio CD series monthly: Mainstream Radio, Urban Radio, Modern Rock Radio, Mainstream Club, Rhythm Club, UK Club Beats and Dance Radio Edits. The Mainstream Radio, Modern Rock Radio, and Urban Radio series offer the 'Radio Versions' of all of the current music that you hear on such Seattle-Area Radio Stations as KUBE 93.3, KNDD 107.7 and KISS 106.1. Our Mainstream Club series offers the extended 12" mixes of dance music such as that which you'll hear on KNHC C89.5, while our Rhythm Club series offers great crossover play between Pop and Hip Hop music. UK Club Beats provides us with exclusive tracks that are charting in England and the rest of Europe. Some of these songs haven't yet been (or won't ever be) released in the US! Finally, Dance Radio Edits is the shorter radio-edit of today's best dance music. So, whatever your student's music tastes might be, from dance to hip hop to pop, we're sure to have the songs that will make them dance all night long!

Of course, we have our full library of sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties music with us as well, all the time!

Wedding Planning Tips...
    From our extensive experience in weddings, we've got some things for you to think about when you're planning your wedding, to make it the best it can be!

1. The entertainment is often the most neglected portion of the event, but can be the more important to your success!

2. Our DJs can also act as Coordinators, making sure that your other vendors know what is happening and when.

3. When planning a meal for the DJ, we prefer to remain at our work space during dinner, and eat there. When we are asked to eat elsewhere, we are unable to monitor the sound system should something happen during dinner!

4. Please make sure you send song requests and event schedules at least one week in advance. We want to make sure we have enough time to review your selections, and let you know if there are any problems!

5. If you want custom lighting for your room more then what we can provide, we'll be happy to refer you to one of our local lighting and electrical rental supply houses!

6. We also make sure you know who your DJ is going to be, before the event. Furthermore, we don't bring people on, just to send them out to their first wedding, with no training... and it's YOUR event! We make sure that all of our DJs are well rehearsed and confident to ensure the best possible event! (Did you know that a local DJ company has been advertising on CraigsList for DJs, with the guarantee to "work this weekend!" They want to send new, un-tested DJs out for their customers- we think this is asking for trouble!)

7. If you have a song you want for your special dances or the reception itself, you are always welcome to provide it on an Audio CD. We'd much prefer you bring the version you are expecting, rather then hope that we have the same version in our library!

AWESOME IDEA!     Requests at the dance? Never a problem! When you choose our Video service as well, we'll display our mobile number on the big screen. Yes, your students can use their cell phones (Come on. You know they all have them with them!) to text-message in their requests! Interacting with the DJ to ask about songs, inquire about what's currently playing, and find out if their request will get played with a reply text message- we're using technology to make sure your students don't have to leave their friends just to make a request! Of course, more and more concerns are raised these days in regards to music and the lyrical content thereof. We work closely with an industry leader in promotional use music called Promo Only. They provide us with all of the new music each month, as it is released. Before they send it out, though, they closely edit each and every song to conform with FCC Radio-Play guidelines. This means that our music will be safe for even the most discerning audience. *This eliminates obscene and/or profane language from the songs. It does not generally effect the suggestiveness of a song. We will advise you of any songs that your students may want to hear that might be questionable due to the message that they present, and allow you to approve or disapprove of their play. We understand your desire to provide a safe environment for your students at your school dances, and you can trust Kelcema Productions to have your interests at heart.
